Meet the Founders
Holston Community Outreach was founded by Marsha Holston and her husband Lauren Holston with a shared passion for serving individuals, youth, and families navigating life transitions. Through both lived experience and hands-on community involvement, they recognized the gap that exists when people move from instability to independence without the basic resources needed to start over.
Their mission is rooted in dignity, compassion, and practical support. Holston Community Outreach focuses on coordinating starter basket initiatives, transition support resources, and community-based partnerships that help individuals and families rebuild with confidence, stability, and hope.
As founders, Marsha and Lauren are committed to creating meaningful impact by meeting people where they are and ensuring no one has to navigate a new beginning alone.
Our Approach
Holston Community Outreach operates as a community connector, bringing together nonprofit organizations, volunteers, local businesses, and service providers to ensure individuals and families have access to the resources they need during critical life transitions.
By strengthening collaboration between agencies and community partners, we help create a more coordinated and effective support network within our community.
Community Partners
Holston Community Outreach works alongside trusted community organizations and service providers to expand support services for youth and families navigating major life transitions.
Initial partners will be added as collaborations are established.
